An “Active Proposal to Strike Off” status on Companies House is a notice of a company’s impending dissolution. In can be either issued as by Companies House as a a compulsory strike-off or be or a voluntary resolution from directors to have the company struck off. Once a company is struck off the Companies House register, it ceases to exist as a legal entity.
