On-line (URI) Basic Company Details
UK Companies House has a free URI service which gives access to the basic details concerning a particular company.
The URI is a unique web address for each company which uses the company number uniquely assigned by the UK Companies House : http://data.companieshouse.gov.uk/doc/company/{companynumber}
Example : Displaying company details
For Company number 02050399 the details for the corresponding company are accessed using : http://data.companieshouse.gov.uk/doc/company/02050399
When using this URI address with your internet browser, the company details are presented as an HTML page. You can also return other data formats including RDF (.rdf), JSON (.json), XML (.xml), CSV (.csv) and YAML (.yaml) by using the proper extension.
